Women’s Education for Self-Protection

Threats against women, such as domestic violence
and sexual assaults are pervasive problems in society.
Those problems are products of a culturally born
stereotype that one sex is superior to the other
in some areas of life. Victimization is promoted
not only by one sex’s belief but also the other
sex’s going along with that belief. Women should be free from this
oppressive idea and educated at an early age to pursue their full potential
in any activity.

One of the common approaches to fight back against those negative
factors affecting women is to heighten awareness of those problems.
When more people recognize the problems and become visible as
advocates against them, they become a higher priority for society.

Programs such as SELF-PROTECTION give them a chance to analyze
particular self-defense situations and learn how to resolve them
physically. By mentally and physically well preparing to solve problems in
this program, young women can develop positive attitudes towards coping
with difficulties in any aspects in their lives.

The combination of confident attitudes with a good physical condition can
also create a positive self-image in young women and encourage them to
overcome physical and emotional challenges they face during critical times
of their development.

The organizational goal can be achieved by spreading its message to as
many people as possible through the success story of young women in the
program.

Recognizing that many people never realize their full potential, the
organization encourages young women to discover their talents and use
them to achieve their goals.

Self-Protection Program includes teaching of self-defense, avoiding
dangerous situations physical and social, fitness, healthy body image and
etc.
